This depends on the unit size that you select. We have units ranging from 9 square metre up to 18 square metres available.  If you are not sure what size will suit you contact one of our well trained staff and we will assist you.

Please be aware that for the safety of our customers and staff we do not accept cash on site.

Our helpful staff will explain all you need to know when you move-in, however it is important to note that you will need:

Your own padlock. We have a range of padlocks and packaging available in store

Your first payment is due on or before your move-in date. Thereafter rent is due on or before the first of every month, however we will place a debit order on your behalf to avoid the hassle of making your monthly payment.

Please be aware that for the safety of our customers and staff we do not accept cash on site.

In the interests of safety for our customers and staff, Storage 4 Us does not accept cash as a form of payment.

All payments should be made by Visa, Mastercard, debit order, EFT or direct deposit. You will have the opportunity to complete a debit order form for simple and hassle free payments.

This is advisable. To ensure you don’t lose the storage space that best suites you, you can reserve a unit by paying a deposit. Check with our staff to book your space now.

No problem, our well trained staff will assist you with your move-in and you will have access to your storage space on the same day. Just remember to bring along your ID, Proof of residence, 3 months bank statement and proof of payment.

The access hours of our facilities are from 08h00 to 17h00 Monday to Friday and from 09h00 to 13h00 on Saturdays.

You will need to sign a lease before you have access to your storage unit. Please remember to give us at least one calendar months written notice of your intention to move-out.

Our well trained staff can assist you to select the unit size that best suites you. Remember if you need regular access to your stored items then a larger space where you can pack aisles will be beneficial. If you know you will only access the unit once you move-out then a smaller space can save in costs.

No problem, you can transfer to another size unit.

Most of our units are three (3) metres high. Best practice is to check with our staff before you choose your unit.

We ensure there is a large range of security features at our stores, ranging from cctv cameras to electric fences and armed response. Read more about our self-storage security features.

Our minimum period is one (1) month and there is no limit to how long you can stay.

One of the benefits of using Storage 4 Us that you are not contracted to a long term lease. Please remember to give us at one calendar month’s written notice of your intention to move out.

We have identified the following items as being hazardous and not suitable for self-storage, and which we do not allow our customers to store in our secure storage facilities:

  • Toxic, pollutants or contaminated goods
  • Firearms, munitions or explosives
  • Radioactive materials
  • Hazardous goods
  • Living plants or animals
  • Food or perishable goods
  • Cash and securities
  • Illegal goods
  • Waste
  • Flammable liquids, including petrol
  • Full or empty gas cylinders
